VeloClean is a photo and video manager for iPhone and iPad that helps you find and remove files using up your storage and edit the photos you keep. We built VeloClean to be private by design: your photo and video library never leaves your device. VeloClean itself does not collect, store, or sell your personal data — a small number of third-party services we use for usage analytics and advertising may collect limited information, as described in Section 6 below.
1.Information We Do Not Collect Directly
VeloClean does not require an account, and the app itself does not collect or store personal information. Specifically, we do not:
- Collect, store, or transmit your photos or videos to any server.
- Require you to sign up, log in, or provide an email address.
- Sell your personal data to third parties.
2.Photo Library Access
To do its job, VeloClean asks for permission to access your photo library. This access is used only on your device to:
- Scan your library to find duplicates, similar shots, blurry images, screenshots, and large videos.
- Open photos in the built-in editor (remove background, enhance, crop, and resize).
- Save edited photos back to your library when you choose to.
You can grant full access or limited access, and you can change or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
3.On-Device Processing
All scanning, comparison, and AI-powered editing (such as background removal and photo enhancement) is performed entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to the cloud or to us, and they are not used to train any model.
4.Device & Storage Information
VeloClean reads your device's available and used storage to power the Storage Dashboard and the iPhone Storage breakdown. This information is displayed on your screen and is not transmitted off your device. App preferences and settings are stored locally on your device.
5.Deleting Your Files
VeloClean never deletes anything without your explicit confirmation. When you choose to remove files, they are moved to the Recently Deleted album managed by the iOS Photos app, where they remain recoverable for a limited time before iOS permanently removes them.
6.Third-Party Analytics & Advertising
VeloClean offers both in-app purchases and advertising side by side, and you can choose how you use the app — for example, by making a purchase to remove ads or unlock premium features, or by continuing to use the app for free with ads shown.
To support this, we use a small number of third-party service providers for two purposes: analytics, to help us understand app usage (such as feature usage and crash reports), and advertising, to serve and measure ads. These providers may collect information such as device identifiers, approximate location, and app usage or interaction data under their own privacy policies, and may use it to personalize ads. This information is collected directly by those third-party providers and is not stored by VeloClean itself.
You can manage ad tracking permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Pricing, features, and any subscription terms for in-app purchases are presented in the app before you buy and are governed by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
All in-app payments are processed and managed entirely by Apple through your App Store account — we do not receive or store your payment information. You can subscribe to, manage, or cancel any auto-renewing subscription at any time from your Apple ID account settings. We only receive confirmation of your purchase or subscription status from Apple, which we use to unlock and provide the corresponding content or features.
7.Children's Privacy
VeloClean does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected, the app can be used without exposing personal information.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
